Commitment ceremonies
|

A commitment ceremony celebrates a couple’s love for each other and their intention to live together as partners. A commitment ceremony has no legal standing in Australia and is available to heterosexual and same sex couples. The ceremony can be of any style to celebrate your story.
Your vows should represent your commitment and love for each other and may be taken in the company of family and friends or in a more intimate way with just the two of you. I am able to assist you to write a meaningful ceremony that will reflect the deep love that you have for each other.
Your ceremony can include music, readings and even an exchange of rings – I would be happy to help you explore your options.

Naming ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a non-religious celebration of the arrival of a new child into the family. It is a way of welcoming the child and officially introducing him/her to family and friends.
Naming ceremonies are appropriate for anyone, at any age. The arrival of a new baby, uniting of step or adopted children within a family or an adult name change, are all great reasons to hold a naming ceremony. Naming ceremonies provide a non-religious alternative to ceremonies such as christening or baptism.
A naming ceremony is also an opportunity for parents to ask other adults to play a supportive role to their child through to their adult life (grandparents, godparents, mentors or supporters).
While the Naming Ceremony and accompanying documents don’t have any legal status, they are a wonderful way to welcome your child and celebrate them as they begin their journey through life.

I will provide you with unique ideas that can be tailored to suit your needs, which can include poems, readings and quotes of personal significance that can be used throughout the ceremony. I would be delighted to work with you in creating a meaningful ceremony for your beautiful child/children.
Renewal of Vows
|

A Renewal of Vows ceremony creates the opportunity to once again express the commitment and the love that you have for each other. Couples who have been married for some time, or who married overseas, may celebrate their marriage and commitment in a ceremony that is shared with family and friends. Many couples choose to renew their vows on a significant wedding anniversary. Your ceremony may have all the ritual and symbolism of your original marriage ceremony or may be as informal and sentimental as you wish.
Renewal of vows is not a legally binding ceremony and as such does not require you to complete any legal documentation; however as a memento of your ceremony, I will present you with a beautiful keepsake in the form of a Renewal of Vows Certificate.
I would welcome the opportunity to help you recreate those very special and tender moments in a ceremony that reflects your love and devotion to each other and one that has weathered the joys, challenges and experiences of your years together.
